Checklist for Collecting Plant and Soil Samples
  • Collect sample(s) according to our sample collection guidelines.
  • Place in sample bags, either double-bagged in Ziploc bags, or in our special sample bags.
  • Label each individual sample bag.
  • Fill out submittal sheets. Include information on type and age of plant(s), and description of the problem.
  • Enclose necessary permits – see table above for permit requirements.
  • Attach completed Shipping Label.
  • Send PLANT samples via OVERNIGHT shipping. Send SOIL samples via 1-3 DAY shipping.
We understand that the sample collection and submission process can be overwhelming for those unfamiliar with the process, and even for those that are familiar with it!
